These terms govern your use of the OneSentenceDay app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
OneSentenceDay lets you save one sentence per day and view your entries over time. We may add, change, or remove features.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide an accurate email so you can recover access.
Your entries belong to you. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store your content, display it back to you, and generate any export you request. We don't claim ownership of your writing and we don't use it to train anything.
Don't use the service for anything unlawful, or attempt to disrupt, abuse, or gain unauthorized access to it or other users' data.
Core journaling is free. We may offer optional paid features in the future (for example, exporting your year as a book). Any price and terms will be shown to you before purchase.
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work to keep your data safe and available but can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Keep your own copies of anything important.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the app's operator is resident, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not limit any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
We may update these terms; we'll revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
